Ok, this is a bit of a weird question, i know, but bear with me.

I want to replace the three spoke steering wheel of my I30 FD 2010 with the four spoke steering wheel of the GD model.
I just can´t get used to the three spoke design, and have always preferred a four spoke layout in my cars.

Would this be possible if I find a second hand GD wheel? Or would I have to replace the whole steering column? Issues with airbag perhaps?

Any input appreciated!

:undecided: do you have a disability?

yes it will bolt on

Ok,  Issues with airbag perhaps?

I’d expect clock spring and buttons on steering wheel to be completely different at least.

Ok, I don´t expect the volume buttons etc to work but thats ok. As long as the horn and the airbag is working I shouldnt have any problem with safety aspects. Would I then also replace the clock spring along with the steering wheel in order to make it work?

I unsure of that sorry.

I know that if the clock spring is wrong you'll have an airbag warning light on the cluster, whether anything else gets messed up I couldn't say :Dunno:
