Hey there, trying to route some wires up through the centre armrest, Does anybody know how to remove it. THe furthest I hav got is removing the two screws at the very front, the four at the back,. and the two bolts inside it. =( it rocks like a see-saw, but thats it.

Remove gear lever surround - remove hand brake cover on console - remove floor of arm rest.

Then use a metal coat hanger (or stiff piece of wire) to pull the wires through.

Be very careful as the pressings that hold the counsel in place have very sharp edges to them (well they did on mine when I fed some wires through it), cut my fingers  :'(

ok thanks, how do you remove the gear lever surround, i took off the knob, and the plastic peice , leaving online the metal shift, and un-buttoned the gaitor. I have looked in it to see if I could see how to remove it, but can not see anything.

i dont think you need to pull the knob off... just unclip the vinyl shroud and it opens up enough...

If you change the page background to white in your post the pics will show better detail.
