iX20 is a nice looking car, a mini iX35 in its styling.

Its surprisingly spacious inside and Drives/handles well. Suspension is excellent and has been "tuned" for our rough roads..

Well if they put the 1.6 diesel in it I will wait a few years give the i30cw to the wife and get an i35 for myself.. Looks like a Hyundai version on the Honda Civic to me..

I'll match that and raise you a 2.0 ltr diesel (with a 6 speed box and paddles on the steering wheel)

Still going, but presumably they are sponsoring a cheaper slot now, the film that just ended (whatever it was) was sponsored by an i30, it was doing bunny hops.

Yeah well I think they decided aussies don't deserve those options, so I don't want to push it too much...

so besides the general look (better than the i20 fortunately), what is the difference between this and an i20? are they different cars or is this an upgrade?

Haven't done the comparison but here is a link to the UK website with the two different models listed...

The ix20 is about 25% dearer although it looks to be a similar size some of this would be for the fancier styling and the rest for more upmarket features and mechanicals I guess??
